The Cravto Manifesto
Anyone can build now.
Knowing what to build is the work.
For most of the history of software, the hard part was making the thing. Teams, time, and capital went into turning an idea into a working product.
AI changed that. What took a year takes a quarter. What took a team takes a few people. When building gets easier, the scarce thing moves: to choosing the right problem, designing what people actually need, and turning it into a business that lasts.
That’s where Cravto works. These are the beliefs that shape how.
Start with the problem, not the technology.
AI is a means, not a pitch. We begin with a real problem, a real customer, and a reason it matters now. If the problem isn’t worth solving, no model will save it.
Evidence before conviction.
We test ideas early and cheaply, and let what we learn decide. Strong opinions are welcome. They just have to survive contact with customers.
Design is how value becomes obvious.
If people don’t understand a product, it doesn’t exist to them. We design until the value is clear without an explanation.
A product is not a business.
Shipping is the midpoint. Positioning, pricing, distribution, and adoption decide whether a product becomes a company. We build those systems with the same care as the product.
Ownership over hours.
We’d rather share the risk than bill the time. When we believe in a venture, we take a stake in it, and we win when it works.
Small teams, whole problems.
Strategy, design, engineering, and growth in the same room. Fewer handoffs, faster learning, better decisions.
Every venture makes the next one stronger.
Knowledge, technology, playbooks, and relationships carry forward. We don’t start from zero. We compound.
A clear no beats a slow maybe.
If an idea isn’t ready, or isn’t right for us, we’ll say so early and plainly. Honesty is part of the work.
Built to endure.
We’re not building for a demo day or a funding headline. We’re building businesses that are still growing in ten years.
Discover what’s worth creating. Create it. Build the conditions for it to last.
